History

 

Sheikh Abdul Qayyum, a young entrepreneur with a passion for quality and a vision for creating the finest ice cream, initially owned an Ice factory a 'Barf Khana' in Sialkot where he dreamt of creating a dessert to fulfil the local needs and bring a unique product to the city. His aim was to produce the finest ice cream available, he insisted on using only the finest, purest ingredients.

 

The family business grew and prospered throughout the 1960's, 70's and 80's. After Sheikh Abdul Qayyum passed away, His three sons Sheikh Waheed Qayyum, Sheikh Asad Qayyum and Sheikh Khurram Qayyum took charge and headed the company with new modernised strategies to form the brand now widely known as Eat More Ice Cream, dedicated to their father's ice cream vision.

 

Initially Eat More Ice Cream started out with only two flavors: vanilla and Pista. The freshly made flavours were served in small silver bowls. But Sheikh Abdul Qayyum's passion for good quality ice cream soon made Eat More Ice Cream the brand it is today, people from all over the country came to enjoy the freshly made delicacies. His unique ice cream recipes included Vanilla, Pista and Kulfa made with the best ingredients available, creating distinctive and indulgent taste experiences.

 

The Eat More Ice Cream brand quickly developed a loyal following. Its early success was created by word of mouth and praise. Without the benefit of advertising the story of an incredibly rich and creamy confection spread rapidly. At first, it was only available at the parlour in front of the Ice cream factory and sticks were sold in wooden Tricycles but later on by early 90's Eat More Ice Cream was selling litre packs, tubs, cups and sticks in shops in Sialkot, but soon distribution expanded throughout the north-east of Punjab.

 

Since the beginning, Eat More Ice Cream has sought to innovate and bring new frozen dessert experiences to its customers, including distinctive flavours such as Praline, Walnut and Tutti Frutti to name just a few. Eat More Ice Cream was also the first to introduce Punjab to Italian delight sundae cups.

 

Eat More Ice Cream established in 1950 remains committed to the idea of Sheikh Abdul Qayyum developing exceptional new super premium frozen dessert experiences, releasing new flavors every year.
